Around 3:15 a.m. Friday, Karen Abbott Yelle was already awake taking care of a sick fish when she heard a crash.  She knew the sound, because in 2000 a car hit her house.  This time she just needed to know where it hit.  She tried to open the front door and when it wouldn't open she knew the car was blocking it.

KATU News reports they found the driver slumped in the seat and could smell alcohol in the vehicle.  They took the keys from the driver and Hillsboro Police took the man into custody.

The house, which is located near the Intel Jones Farm Campus, suffered damage to the front door and one bedroom.  No one in the house was injured.
