Oregon's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 7.8 percent in May and 7.9 percent in April.
The national unemployment rate is 7.6%.
Oregon added 3,800 jobs in May. The construction industry added 1,600 jobs, trade, transportation, and utilities added 900 which was partially offset by a drop in 800 manufacturing jobs.
Around 146,000 Oregonians were out of work and looking for work.
The U6 rate, which includes people working part-time because they can't get full-time work, is at 16%.
