Southwest Airlines is (once again) adding routes to Hawaii, and dropping prices to drum up attention. The new routes from Bay Area airports are out of Oakland International Airport (OAK) and Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) to two Hawaii airports: Lihue (on Kauai) and Kona (on the Big Island) starting in Jan. 2020.
Southwest also announced daily travel between Sacramento and Honolulu.
