We find an Ethiopian law student beaten to death in Portland, Oregon by members of the Neo-Nazi group East Side White Pride.
We find one of the most hated cartoon characters of all time, Scrappy-Doo, being unofficially retired due to audience backlash.
And we find “Shattered Dreams” on the radio by Johnny Hates Jazz. There was no Johnny in the group; the band was named for a jazz-hating mutual friend of the three members, Calvin, Mike and Clark. Ironically enough, the group was discovered while playing at a jazz club.
