We find a groundbreaking new comedy series on CBS. All in the Family, stars Carroll O'Connor as Archie Bunker... frequently called a "lovable bigot"
Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors, is found dead in a bathtub in Paris. He died at the age of 27 as did Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin before him. This is Jim’s sister Anne.
And we find “Won't Get Fooled Again” on the radio by The Who. Roger Daltrey's scream was recorded with the rest of the band in a nearby room. Rather than for the song, everyone thought Roger was actually screaming at the sound engineer.
