In the time capsule today…
We find Iran Air Flight 655 being shot down by the USS Vincennes. The Airbus A300 was destroyed and all 290 people on board were killed. Video cameras rolled on the ship... capturing the shoot and the aftermath.
We find a movie in theaters starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Belushi. “Red Heat” was the first American movie given permission to film in Moscow's Red Square, though most of the scenes were shot in Hungary.
And we find a song on the radio by Steve Winwood. Steve was 40 years old when “Roll With It” went to #1 on the charts!
