108-Year-Old WWII Vet Scores Big Game Tickets!

A special New Orleans Saints superfan is going to the Big Game.

While Drew Brees and company may not be in Minneapolis for Super Bowl 52, Lawrence Brooks will be. The 108-year-old WWII veteran has been gifted tickets by Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan. Jordan, who’s up for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award, thanked Brooks for his past military service and said the team and the league wanted to “try to bless somebody who needs tickets.” The pair chatted on Facetime and the conversation was shared on Facebook.

Brooks, after leaving the service, got married and had five children along with five step children. He was a forklift operator and retired in 1974.
