The U.S. Postal Service is going to honor a fallen “Beatle.”
They are set to unveil a John Lennon forever stamp as part of its Music Icons series. Details of a dedication ceremony that is free to attend and open to the public were released yesterday (7/10).
The ceremony will take place on September 7th at 11am at the Naumburg Bandshell in New York City's Central Park. The Bandshell is a short distance from Central Park's Strawberry Fields, the memorial to Lennon officially dedicated on what would have been his 45th birthday, October 9th, 1985.
