With New Year’s Eve upon us, lots of people will be making their annual resolutions, and whether you decide you want to lose weight, quit smoking, or exercise more, it’s safe to say it won’t exactly be easy to keep them.
It turns out where you live may affect whether you actually stick to your New Year’s resolutions, and WalletHub has determined which cities in the country are the best at keeping them. The site looked at the most popular resolutions, and then judged more than 180 cities on 56 factors, breaking them down into five areas - Health, Financial, School and Work, Bad Habit and Relationship.
So, which city is the best for keeping resolutions?
San Francisco, California tops the list with a score of 66.35, coming in at number one for relationship resolutions, and three for health resolutions. Meanwhile, topping the list for health resolutions is Irvine, California, while Overland Park, Kansas is tops for financial resolutions, Plano, Texas is number one for school and work resolutions and Columbia, Maryland is the best for tackling bad habit resolutions.

ONE MORE THING! As for the worst city in the country for New Year’s resolutions, that would be Gulfport, Mississippi, which scored a 34.94 and ranks close to the bottom for health, school and work, bad habit and relationship resolutions.
