Since the Oscars are awards for the best of the best, there needed to be awards for the worst. So, 39 years ago was the first ever Razzie Awards. The worst of the worst. And the nominees are.......(list below)
The Razzie Award Noms Are Out

- The 39thannual Razzie Award nominations were announced yesterday.
- They recognize the worst of the worst in film.
- President Trump picked up two nominations.
“Gotti,” “Holmes & Watson,” “Death of a Nation,” and “Happytime Murders” were each honored – wink, wink – with six Razzie Award nominations. The anti-kudofest celebrates all things bad in Hollywood the day before the Oscar nominations.
President Trump was among the nominees for the worst actor for his real life performance in Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary “Death of a Nation.” He’ll compete against Bruce Willis, John Travolta, Johnny Depp, and Will Ferrell for that prize. He’s also up for the worst screen combo with “his self perpetuating pettiness” for “Death of a Nation” and in Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 11/9.”
Other administration figures nominated include Melania Trump, and Kellyanne Conway. Both ladies are in the worst supporting actress category along with Marcia Gay Harden, Kelly Preston, and Jaz Sinclair.
