Logan, the 10-week-old German Shepherd puppy from Ferndale whose heart condition has left him with a short life expectancy, is getting a second chance at life.
His condition caught the attention of a vet in Colorado, who believes he can perform surgery to fix the problem.
The pup will see Dr. Scansen with Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, on Wednesday and is expected to have surgery Thursday.
