Listen To Alice In Chains Front Man William DuVall's New Solo Single

Alice In Chains front man William DuVall is releasing his debut solo album, One Alone, this fall.

The singer's announcement Monday accompanied by the album's lead single, "Til the Light Guides Me Home."

Like the new song, the album is described as an "all-acoustic affair" that is "as sparse and intimate as it gets — part late-night confessional, part living room concert."

DuVall has been a "band guy" for his entire career up to this point, having done three albums with his pre-Alice In Chains band Comes With the Fall, one album with his side project Giraffe Tongue Orchestra and three albums with AIC, DuVall said in a release that it felt good to "peel everything back to the bare bones."

"This album is strictly one voice, one guitar," DuVall continued. "It reveals the very core of who I am as a singer, guitarist and songwriter."

One Along is due out October 4, via DVL Recordings.

The album is available for pre-orders here.
