Oregon Dog Rescue is a no-kill shelter serving the greater Portland, Oregon area.
It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started in 2007 by two women with a combined twelve years of experience with rescue dogs. Oregon Dog Rescue is devoted to placing dogs in the best homes and assuring the long-term success of the adoption. Oregon Dog Rescue can receive 20-30 even 50 or 60 dogs at a time that need homes. They are not a huge shelter, but Adele and I have adopted more than one dog from them. we love how they care for each and every dog as if it were their own. Can you help? Their biggest need right now is donations. In 2019 their medical costs ran about $35,000/month! As a non-profit this is difficult to maintain. Besides donations they sent along a wish list of items they really need. So, maybe you could check it out, place an order from Amazon or other online sites and have the items delivered directly to them. And of course, now would be a good time to add a fur baby to your family. Please consider the above. Here is their website link!
