102-Year-Old Woman Has Beaten Coronavirus
An elderly woman has beaten the odds and is now recovering from the coronavirus. Esther Marie Transue, 102, tested positive for the illness at her assisted living facility in Lakeland, Florida and was rushed to a local hospital.
Her primary symptom was a high fever and after six days, she tested negative for coronavirus and had no major health complications. Esther jokes that her secret to a long life is “tryin’ to behave” and she says she’s planning to “just keep on living.”
