In the capsule today…

We find a new show by Jim Henson on HBO. Jim described Fraggle Rock as "a high-energy, raucous, musical romp.”

We find Apple releasing the Lisa personal computer. Steve Jobs, claimed at the time, that LISA was an acronym for "Locally Integrated Software Architecture..." and not a reference to his abandoned daughter Lisa.

And we find a song on the radio by Lionel Richie. The record company did not like the track with its unfamiliar calypso beat, however Lionel successful pushed for the release as a single. A young and uncredited Richard Marx supplied backing vocals.
