We find George Carlin hosting the first episode of “NBC's Saturday Night.” The show would later be renamed Saturday Night Live.

We find a comedy-western film produced by Disney. The "Apple Dumpling Gang" features a no-so-slick gambler named Russell Donovan, played by Bill Bixby.
