In the capsule today…

We find a new show starring David Hasselhoff. His character, Michael Knight, fights crime with an artificially intelligent automobile in "Knight Rider!"

We find the introduction of a new sugar-free soda. Diet Coke has a different taste not only due to the artificial sugar… but the formula is based on the recipe for Tab. Coke Zero later used the original Coca-Cola formulation.

And we find a song on the radio from Jackson Browne. The song was written for and featured in the movie “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” as a favor for his friend, screenwriter and director Cameron Crowe.
