TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Laid Off Man Mows Lawns For Elderly For Free

A New Jersey man who was laid-off this summer because of the COVID-19 crisis is using his time to help the community.

After being laid off from his job this summer, a New Jersey man is using his down time to help people in his community. Brian Schwartz, a former VP of digital advertising, is now mowing lawns for the elderly and veterans and he’s doing it for free.

While he searched for a new job, Schwartz decided to spend his time off to give back. He launched a website, I want to mow your lawn.com, where people can request his services and donate gas money, if they want. He has a newborn baby at home and bills are starting to pile up, so times are stressful, but he says he wants to put some good out in the world.

“I just want to do good,” Schwartz explains. “It feels good, it feels right, following my heart.”
