Air Is So Bad-Multnomah County Says "No One Should Be Outside"!

Employers are asked to protect their workers and keep them indoors too.

Multnomah County tweeted Monday morning saying "NO ONE should be outside" due to the hazardous air quality in the region.

The county is asking employers and workers to not work outside Monday. If absolutely necessary, they say to be sure to use an N95 mask, take breaks, and drink water. Thank you to our news partner KATU for their great work following these poor air conditions. KATU Meteorologist Rhonda Shelby said she only expects conditions to improve slightly Monday afternoon and doesn't see the smoke leaving the area until late in the week.
