We find the Apple II computer going on sale. The Apple II was the first majorly successful mass-produced microcomputer, and was designed primarily by Steve Wozniak.
We find the “Son of Sam” captured in Yonkers, New York, after over a year of murders in New York City.
And we find a song on the radio by Fleetwood Mac. Christine McVie wrote "Don't Stop" about leaving the past behind. She and John McVie were splitting up, which inspired the lyrics.
