Carson Time Capsule... Tuesday, October 27th.

In the capsule today…

We find a baseball giant, the first black player in Major League Baseball history, Jackie Robinson passing away at age 53.

We find a action thriller film in theaters starring Charles Bronson. “The Mechanic” features a top assassin who takes under his wing a young protege.

And we find a song on the radio by the Spinners. The group first signed with Motown, but with limited commercial success, they were as chaperones, and chauffeurs for other groups. The group then signed with Atlantic, producing the hit “I’ll Be Around” and then “Could It Be I'm Falling Love” soon after.
