Carson Time Capsule... Thursday, November 5th.

In the capsule this morning...

We find Chicago serial killer John Wayne Gacy in custody. After executing a search warrant at Gacy’s home, police found his crawlspace “full of kids."

We find a buddy comedy film in theaters starring Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong. “Up in Smoke” was made for $2 million, and grossed over $100 million worldwide… and is credited with establishing the stoner film genre.

And we find a song on the radio by Joe Walsh. “Life's Been Good” first appeared on the soundtrack to the film “FM,” and has been described by Joe to be “mostly true.”

What is the year?

The year... 1978!
