I have had the honor and pleasure of working with Mr. Paul Linnman for many years now at iHeart Radio. His desk is right across from mine and he has told me many stories of the exploding whale. He was the KATU reporter on site for the big explosion. Paul has even wrote a book about it. Paul has been eternally connected to the exploding whale story. So much so, that he has traveled the world giving talks to colleges and organizations about the exploding whale. Monday November 9th is the 50th anniversary the whale washed ashore on the Oregon Coast in Florence. This Thursday November 12th is the 50th anniversary of the the exploding whale.
