Carson Time Capsule... Tuesday, November 9th.

In the capsule today…

We find the US Treasury Department reintroducing the two-dollar bill.

We find the movie “Freaky Friday” in theaters. Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster play a mother and her daughter who switch bodies and get a taste of each other's lives. The movie has since had three different remakes.

And we find a song on the radio by The Bellamy Brothers. A roadie for Neil Diamond wrote the song, but Neil turned it down. In a chance encounter The Bellamy Brothers thought it was a cool track, and “Let Your Love Flow” became a huge hit. Neil’s roadie, Larry Williams, became a wealthy songwriter as a result.
