We find one of the most memorable touchdowns in college football history. The California Golden Bears score with five lateral passes and a run through the marching band to win the game. The winning drive becomes known simply as “The Play.”

We find a film in theaters starring Paul Newman as a down-on-his-luck alcoholic lawyer who accepts a medical malpractice case. "The Verdict" is nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Actor and Best Picture.

And we find a song on the radio by Toni Basil. The track is actually a cover of "Kitty" from a relatively unknown group named Racey. Toni updated the song and changed the title to "Mickey."
