Carson Time Capsule... Friday, November 20th.

In the capsule today…

We find a brand new television game show created by Merv Griffin. The show features word puzzles similar to Hangman, and a giant spinning wheel!

We find the second Monty Python movie in theaters. “The Holy Grail” was funded in part by rock bands Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Genesis, who used the investment as a tax shelter.

And we find a cover song on the radio by James Taylor. The song was originally recorded by Marvin Gaye and written by Holland–Dozier–Holland. The title was inspired by one of Jackie Gleason's signature catch-phrases… "How Sweet It Is!"
