We find a classic baseball comedy film in theaters. Despite the story set in Cleveland, the movie was filmed in Milwaukee as it was a cheaper location to shoot. Charlie Sheen, Wesley Snipes and Bob Uecker star in “Major League!”
We find a pilot episode of a potential new comedy show making its debut. "The Seinfeld Chronicles" was panned by test audiences, but received praise from critics. Unsure what to do, NBC ordered a four-episode first season, the smallest in history.
And we find a song on the radio by Roy Orbison. Roy recorded the song in his garage, and performed it live only one time. Roy then passed away 17 days after the song was even released.
