In the capsule today…

We find a Cameron Crowe film in theaters. “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” was adapted from the book Cameron wrote about his experience attending a San Diego high school, undercover, at the age of 22. <<Nancy Wilson of Heart has a cameo in the film as: "Beautiful Girl in Car," and Nancy and Cameron got married a few years later.>>

We find a video game for ATARI starring the band Journey. “Journey Escape” was developed and manufactured by the company Data Age. Though Journey was hugely popular at the time, poor reviews and weak sales of the game ended up bankrupting the company.

And we find "Centerfold" by The J. Geils Band going to number one on the radio. The lyrics take us through the story of a guy who finds his high school crush posing in a dirty magazine. As a surprising side note, in the decade prior, lead singer Peter Wolf was married to Faye Dunaway
