In the time capsule today…
We find a musical horror comedy film. Though critically panned, it soon found a cult following as midnight movie with audiences talking back to the screen, dancing and dressing as the characters. Tim Curry stars, in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
We don’t find former Teamster’s Union president Jimmy Hoffa. He disappeared, and has yet to be found.
And we find “Who Loves You” on the radio by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. The group found success in the 60s with a 50s retro vibe, but eventually fell out of favor. A few years later the sound circled back into popularity with the advent of disco! Frankie Valli's falsetto was perfectly suited for dance grooves.
