We find televangelist Jim Bakker, head of PTL Ministries, resigning after admitting an affair with church secretary Jessica Hahn. And that just the start of the trouble… with subsequent revelations of accounting fraud, leading to imprisonment and divorce.
And we find a song on the radio performed by Club Nouveau. The single is a cover of the Bill Withers song which topped the charts in 1972. To the surprises of Bill, he won a Grammy for the Club Nouveau version… for Best R&B Songwriter.
