Hello dog lovers, you may know my wife and I rescue senior dogs, we have four in our home right now. One isn't a senior, she is 4 year old Lucy Girl. Lucy is a Yellow Labrador Retriever which currently is #1 on the AKC list. Technically she is a senior rescue too. She was owned by two senior citizens, (In their 80's) one (daddy) had to go into assisted living and mommy just couldn't handle her energy, so this sweet girl fell into the lap of our family and we couldn't be happier. What a coincidence she is at the top of the AKC list. Where is your dog?
Frankly, all of our dogs are at the top of our list as far as we're concerned. But it is kind of fun to peruse the AKC list and see where your pooch is.
