We find a new Muppet on Sesame Street. Don Music was a composer who would bang his head against a piano when things didn’t go right. The character was abandoned after reports of children imitating him.
And we find a song on the radio by Elton John. Songwriter Bernie Taupin said the song lyrics are a satire on the greed and glitz of music industry. Elton was set against releasing it as a single, believing it would fail. “Bennie And The Jets” ended up being one of their most popular.
