In the time capsule today…
We find a new TV show on ABC. The Fall Guy stars Lee Majors and Heather Thomas as Hollywood stunt performers who moonlight as bounty hunters.
We find a new video game at the arcade. “Donkey Kong” features a gorilla character throwing barrels at “Jumpman.” Jumpman later becomes the Nintendo flagship character Mario.
And we find “Start Me Up” on the radio by The Rolling Stones. The track features producer Bob Clearmountain's famous "bathroom reverb," with the song's vocal and drum tracks fed through a miked speaker in the bathroom of his New York recording studio.
