In the time capsule today…

We find Microsoft releasing Windows 2.0. CEO and pitchman Steve Ballmer highlighted the new features, including 16-color graphics, and desktop icons.

We find a new party animal pitchman on the scene, a dog slinging Bud Light. Spuds MacKenzie made his debut in a popular Super Bowl ad. Two years later Anheuser-Busch cancelled the campaign, as the dog was becoming more popular than the beer.

And we find a song on the radio by Foreigner. The name of the band came from the fact that half the members were from England and half from the US. No matter where they were, someone would always be considered a foreigner.
