We find comedian George Carlin being arrested in Milwaukee for public obscenity after reciting his "Seven Words You Can Never Say" routine.
We find a film about four Atlanta men canoeing down a river in the Georgia wilderness. “Deliverance” is notorious for both its shocking on-screen content… and for the production in which, to cut costs, all the actors performed their own stunts without insurance protection.
And we find a song on the radio by Carly Simon. Carly claims that the song refers to three men, only one of whom she has named publicly: Warren Beatty. She has also said that it is not about Mick Jagger, who contributed backing vocals to the song.
