Carson Time Capsule... Wednesday, May 12th.

In the time capsule today…

We find comedian George Carlin being arrested in Milwaukee for public obscenity after reciting his "Seven Words You Can Never Say" routine.

We find a film about four Atlanta men canoeing down a river in the Georgia wilderness. “Deliverance” is notorious for both its shocking on-screen content… and for the production in which, to cut costs, all the actors performed their own stunts without insurance protection.

And we find a song on the radio by Carly Simon. Carly claims that the song refers to three men, only one of whom she has named publicly: Warren Beatty. She has also said that it is not about Mick Jagger, who contributed backing vocals to the song.

What is the year? (answer below).
