In the time capsule today…

We find the introduction of the McRib at McDonalds. The McRib consists of restructured ground pork shoulder shaped into a paddy like a miniature rack of ribs. Meat restructuring was developed by the US Army to deliver low-cost protein to troops in the field.

We find the mysterious passing of Natalie Wood. Natalie drowned near Santa Catalina Island after spending the night on a yacht with husband Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken. The autopsy report revealed that she had bruises on her body and arms, and her cause of death is listed as "drowning and other undetermined factors."

And we find a song on the radio by Rick James. Rick came up with "Super Freak" after everything else for his album “Street Songs” was done and, “I wanted to write a silly song.” It became his biggest hit!
