We find Michael Jordan named the NBA's "Rookie of the Year." Six years later, Jordan won his first NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls.
We find David Letterman starting a brand new segment… the Top Ten list! Dave used the three funniest entries for #10 (to start the list strong), #6, (to hold up the middle)... and #2 (for a last long laugh before the end of the list). Number one is generally a throw away line.
And we find a song on the radio by Bruce Springsteen. Bruce wrote the “Born In The USA” lyrics to address problems Vietnam veterans encountered when they returned to America. The original title was "Vietnam."
