We find New York City facing bankruptcy. Economic stagnation combined with middle-class flight to the suburbs, drained the city of tax revenue, and ultimately enough money to pay for day to day operating expenses.

We find an operetta fantasy film in theaters based on an album by The Who. “Tommy” is a “deaf, mute, and blind" boy who becomes a pinball champion and religious leader

And we find “Killer Queen” on the radio by Queen. It’s the group's first hit song in the US, with Freddy Mercury singing about a high-class call girl.
