We find the highest-grossing film of all time based on a Saturday Night Live skit. Dana Carvey and Mike Meyers star in Wayne’s World.

We find a new and violent video game, with gory finishing moves called “Fatalities.” Mortal Kombat leads to the creation of the Entertainment Software Rating Board, and is the first game given a "Mature" rating.

And we find a live duet with George Michael and Elton John reaching #1 on the charts. “Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me” was mixed between two performances from consecutive nights at Wembley Arena in London.
