Not that we earthlings have anything to worry about, but who knows what the future holds. NASA is attempting to launch a spacecraft into space to crash into an asteroid in an attempt to change its trajectory. If it can, it means that perhaps if an asteroid was headed right for earth, we might be able to avoid disaster. It's really quite amazing. Get the full scoop here!
