If you don't have an air conditioner in your home and a heatwave hit, it could be miserable, especially at night when trying to sleep. Check out this DIY video about making your own air conditioner with a styrofoam cooler, a couple of dryer vents or pvc elbows and a fan. Throw some large bottles of water into the freezer and you are all set. The word I got from my friend who built one was that it cooled hos bedroom and made it much more pleasant to sleep at night. Of course this video is several years old and costs have risen, but it still much more affordable than buying a real air conditioner. If you make one of these, let me know what you think. Thanks.
