Over the next couple of weeks two eclipses will be taking place. Early on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 8, the moon will plunge completely into the shadow of the Earth producing a total lunar eclipse that will be visible from North America as well as parts of South America, central and eastern Asia, Australia and New Zealand. But before that on Tuesday October 25th the moon's shadow will partially scrape the north polar regions of Earth resulting in a partial solar eclipse.
