Many of us have fond memories of Kah Nee-Ta Hot Springs. Well, get ready, new memories are coming. Kah-Nee-Ta has released a number of maps revealing the resort's new layout, ahead of its anticipated opening. Kah-Nee-Ta Hot Springs first opened in 1962 and was Oregon’s first destination resort east of the Cascades. It closed in 2018, due to the economy. When it reopens this summer, check this out, it will have multiple pools surrounded by cabanas, a spa and athletic center and a hotel. The resort spans both sides of the river, and provides space for launching kayaks and tubes. There’s also a tribal area reserved for Natives.
