The Oregon Secretary of State's Office has confirmed enough valid signatures were collected to send the transportation funding law to voters. Organizers of an initiative petition collected more than 163-thousand valid signatures. The law would have increased the gas tax, vehicle registration fees and the payroll tax. Those changes will not take effect, unless voters approve the measure in November.
