Portland Police say human remains found at two locations downtown are from the same 38-year-old man.
The Multnomah County Medical Examiner says the initial examination of the remains did not reveal any specific abnormalities or injuries. Toxicology tests are pending.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the remains becoming separated.
The first remains were found near Southwest Harvey Milk Street and Naito Parkway. The second set of remains were found days later near I-405 and West Burnside.
