Here's Why You Can Start Eating Pillsbury's Raw Cookie Dough Soon

Starting later this summer, you'll be able to eat Pillsbury's raw cookie dough.

Currently you should not do that because of the risk of salmonella from the eggs and flour. But they're introducing a new process of pasteurizing eggs and flour to eliminate the risk.
