When I heard that Bob Uecker passed away at the age of 90, I remembered all the different things he was a part of after baseball. I used to watch Mr. Belvedere every Friday night when I was a kid. I remember the Miller Lite commercials and the Krylon Paint commercials with Johnny Bench.
Bob had a larger than life personality and I'm glad he was able to share it on a big stage.
I'm not sure if Norm McDonald's story is true but it's funny. And Bob appearing on Letterman with his advice for kids is his typical hilarious stuff.
We will miss him.
