Lawyer explains ruling that declares Oregon restrictions 'null and void'

An Oregon judge on Monday tossed out statewide coronavirus restrictions imposed by Gov. Kate Brown, saying she didn’t seek the Legislature's approval to extend the stay-at-home orders beyond a 28-day limit. The Oregon Supreme Court put the ruling on hold later in the day.
