It's the 52nd Anniversary of the Exploding Whale

On November 12th, 1970, ODOT decided to pack a dead whale on the Oregon coast with dynamite and blow it up. Works with rocks, why wouldn't it work on a whale? Well, because rocks aren't gooey and stink of death. But that didn't stop them from trying and our own Paul Linnman was there to witness it.
